Lavanda ( lavender )

Može se uspješno gajiti u našim krajevima, lako podnosi naše klimatske uslove, pa je stoga čest stanovnik naših bašti ili terasa. Ukoliko tek planirate da gajite ovu aromatičnu biljku, u daljem tekstu slijedi par jednostavnih savjeta za uspješno gajenje lavande. Sadnju je najbolje odraditi u proljećnim mjesecima, aprilu odnosno maju. , i najraskošnija je ljeti, kada su temperature iznad 30C. Prilikom sadnje odaberite mjesto koje je najviše izloženo suncu, jer lavanda slabo uspijeva u polusjeni i sjeni. Da li ćete je gajiti u saksiji ili u žardinjeri, zavisi isključivo od vas. Ono što je neophodno za kvalitetnu lavandu na terasi jeste dobar odabir zemljišta. Ovoj purpurnoj cvjetnici odgovaraju propusna, dobro drenirana zemljišta, stoga, prije sadnje, na dnu saksije ili žardinjere treba staviti odredjenu količinu drenaže (glinopor). Lavanda je zimzelena, izuzetno aromatična, poludrvenasta biljka žbunastog habitusa, visine između 50 i 80 cm. Zbog atraktivne boje cveta i prijatnog mirisa može biti veoma interesantan element svake bašte ili terase. Cvetovi su svetlo do tamnoljubičasti i javljaju se u periodu između juna i avgusta, a pored toga jako je dekorativna i u periodu van cvetanja zahvaljujući gustom žbunastom habitusu i sivo-zele­nim do srebrnastim listovima. Veoma je pogodna vrsta za obrazovanje niskih živih ograda i bordura jer dobro podnosi orezivanje.ako nije autohtona vrsta u Srbiji, lavanda dobro podnosi naše klimatske uslove i može se uspešno gajiti, uz par mera predostrožnosti. Optimalni period za sadnju lavande su prolećni meseci april i maj, pri čemu je jako bitno voditi računa o tome da zemljište mora da bude dobro drenirano tj. propusno, vlažna područja treba izbegavati. Kod uzgajanja lavande u saksijama, važno je staviti drenažni sloj šljunka na dno saksije. U početnoj fazi, nakon sadnje, zahteva zali­vanje, dok kasnije jako dobro podnosi sušu, a tokom zimskih meseci je ne treba zalivati. U uslovima kada je zemljište bez vode može da podnese i jako niske temperature, čak do -20 C, ali voda u zemljištu dovodi do smrzavanja korena. Takođe, bitno je da lavandu pozicionirate na mesto gde će biti zaštićena od vetra i imati puno sunca, jer u senci ne uspeva.  Pored toga što je veoma dekorativna i prijatnog mirisa, lavanda u vašem vrtu ili na vašoj terasi može imati i više namena od estetske. Uzgoj činčila poslednjih godina postaje sve interesantniji. Činčile se uzgajaju zbog krzna koje je veoma cenjeno i traženo. Postojbina činčila su Kordiljeri u Južnoj Americi.Činčile su glodari iz familije miševa krznara i noćne su životinje.Podsećaju na veverice, pogotovo zbog kitnjastog repa. Krzno im je najčešće svetlo do tamno sive boje, po trbuhu belo. Uzgojene su takođe i crne i bezbojne činčile. One su pogodne za uzgoj jer su mirne životinje bez neprijatnog mirisa. Prostor za uzgoj činčila mora biti potpuno suv i zatvoren. Potrebno je imati prostoriju za rasplod i poseban prostor za uzgoj mladih.Činčile su poligamne životinje, zato se ne uzgajaju u parovima, već svaka ženka mora imati zaseban kavez veličine 40 x 40 x 50 cm koji se slažu u redove. Mužjaku treba napraviti hodnik, u pozadini kaveza u kojima su smeštene ženke kako bi ih mogao posećivati stalno.
