Budućnost na selu, ne u gradu ( Future of the country not in city)

Nije ni čudo što se stariji ljudi oduvek, kad završe sa radnim vekom, umorni od takvog života u gradu koji im je dao samo preživljavanje, vraćaju selu, na parcele i stare kuće koje su im ostale od predaka.

Pored onih očitih prednosti kao što su spokoj, tišina, čist vazduh, čista voda, mogućnost uzgoja sopstvenog voća i povrća koje nije tretirano otrovnim hemikalijama, na selu pronalaze i one manje očite kao što su rukovanja i neposredna bezmrežna komunikacija koja polako pada u zaborav. Na prvi pogled, život u većim urbanim sredinama pruža raznolik život prepun mogućnosti za ostvarivanje snova. Kad se malo bolje pogleda, za većinu ljudi taj život i nije toliko raznolik nego više liči na jedan monotoni dan koji se razvukao na čitav život, surovi dan u kome se dečački snovi o budućnosti gase jedan za drugim, iza sebe ostavljajući samo prazninu i osećaj neostvarenosti.

Prihvatili smo depresiju, stres i nesanice kao nešto normalno, nešto od čega savremen čovek ne može da pobegne ako želi da bude uzoran član ovog društva i da živi od svog, najčešće, nedovoljno plaćenog rada, prihvatili smo da budemo nesrećno srećni.Selo je savršena sredina za odgoj dece jer se na selu deca bude uz cvrkut ptica a ne uz zvuke bušilice za beton, saobraćaja ili glasne muzike koja dopire iz obližnjeg kafića.Živeći u skladu sa prirodom, deca brzo nauče da je cene i da je čuvaju. Roditelji ne moraju da budu u grču svakog trenutka pitajući se da li im je dete sigurno stiglo do škole ili prijatelja jer se stopa kriminala na selu veoma niska pa su deca koja žive na selu mnogo bezbednija nego ona koja žive u gradu.
